Single Parenting
Thank goodness I am not a single mom! For all of you out there that are - bless you! This month was the outage at Donnie's work, which meant 100 hours of overtime. That means almost no help from him with the kids...ugh. I am so worn out, and incredibly lonely. I don't see how people do this on their own all the time. Today going to church was such a task, and it is usually something I look forward to. Did I mention I am so lonely. I feel pathetic really. Last week I started browsing the want ads. Part of me wants to work just so I can have a break and get some adult conversation in.

I'm glad that I'm not a single mom either... then again I'm not a mom at all :)
ReplyDeleteI currently have a job but I can definitely feel ya on browsing the want ads... I'm ready to put this degree to work!
I was a single mother for nine years. It is tough! My family lived too far away to help. The good thing is my son and I are really close now. Hang in there. I know it is easier when your husband his home to help. It is hard going to school, working, and being a mother. You have to squeeze some time in for you, even if it is just a few minutes. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sometimes it can get overwhelming!
