Cabin Fever

Dictionary.com defines cabin fever as "Boredom, restlessness, or irritability that results from a lack of environmental stimulation, as from a prolonged stay in a remote, sparsely populated region or a confined indoor area."

Yep, that's what is going around at my house. I have been stuck inside since Thursday. It wouldn't be so bad, but Kyndal has been stuck right here with me. I should be grateful that we have electricity and that we didn't have to resort to spagettios for survival, but I can't stand being here any more. This is one of the few times that I am jealous of my husband for having a job to go to. He may just be sitting in a control room for twelve hours, but at least he gets to look at different walls. If it was just me, I would brave the roads and go shopping or something, but since I am a nursing mother, where I go so does a tiny little seven pound boy (Way to scary to think of taking him out in this). So, I sit and watch too much tv and try to come up with new things to keep Kyndal occupied. None the less, while I am sitting, I am counting the seconds until she goes to school on Monday....please let there be school on Monday! (The last big ice storm that hit the area in 2007 left school cancelled for an entire week!)
